All cosmetics products circulating in the EU have to be produced according to this standard.

At Laboratoire Laredo, we are aware of the urgent challenge of climate change and how we can help solving it by adapting the way we work. We are a carbon neutral white label cosmetics manufacturer commited to work towards a more sustainable future.

Since 2021, we have partner with the carbon consulting firm Avvena to helps us measure and report our carbon footprint to the Spanish MITECO registry every year and have also join the Climate Conscious program that supports and valorizes businesses conducting actions to reach net zero emissions by 2030.

Mesuring our impact help us to better address it by changing our habits and encouraging best practices in our daily activities.

Here are just a few of our commitments:

  • We work only with recyclable, biodegradable and/or long-lasting materials, sourced in Europe, even if it involves for our costs to sometimes be higher.

  • We priorize local producers to source our raw materials and those with strong sustainability comitments.

  • We limit our business travels to the minimum and prefer longer train journeys over short-haul flights.

  • We use second hand lab equipment and refurbished devices for our office spaces.

  • We purchase every year carbon credits from certified Gold Standard and Verra VCS projects and support local tree planting projects in Spain to counterbalance our irreductible emissions.
